Grants of up to $5,000 are available for students from Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand who may no longer be able to study in the United States because of tsunami-caused financial losses at home. The Institute of International Education and the Freeman Foundation have invited accredited colleges and universities in the U.S. to nominate up to four students per campus.
